Nikolai Chebotaru (also - Chebotaru Mykola; born 1948) is an outstanding Ukrainian artist from the Odessa region. His artistic path began at the age of 24. The artist received his professional education at the Repin Republican Art School in Chisinau in 1976. After moving to Crimea, he worked in art workshops in Sevastopol and gained recognition through numerous national and regional exhibitions. In 1982, he was accepted into the Union of Artists of Ukraine, a testament to his skill and contribution to Ukrainian art. Mykola Chebotar’s impressionistic style and dedication to his craft have made him a respected figure in Ukrainian art. He is also the father of renowned contemporary artist Andrei Chebotaru, further highlighting the family’s significant artistic heritage.
